Randy Anglin

Founder & Executive Director, P.A.T.H. Housing Solutions

Randal Anglin is the driving force behind P.A.T.H. Housing Solutions (Progressive Advancement Towards Homeownership). With more than 30 years of experience in real estate development, investment, and asset securitization, he leads PATH’s mission to expand access to sustainable homeownership and build healthier, more equitable communities.

 

Drawing on a career that spans multifamily and single-family development, capital structuring, and fund management, Randal brings a unique ability to align financial systems with social impact. His vision for PATH unites housing, health, and opportunity—transforming communities and creating pathways to generational prosperity.

Nelson Garcia

Co-Founder and Managing Partner, RARE CRE

Nelson brings more than 14 years of experience in real estate investment, development, and private equity. Over his career, he has financed and developed more than 2 million square feet of residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate across diverse markets.

 

With a strong background in capital structuring, acquisitions, and asset management, Nelson has also led telecommunications and infrastructure development projects, combining strategic vision with operational excellence. His expertise in aligning investment strategy with long-term value creation continues to shape RARE CRE’s reputation as an innovative force in real estate and community development.

Derek Andrews

Technology Advisor, P.A.T.H. Housing Solutions

Derek brings his expertise from Columbia Technologies to drive the technological advancement of P.A.T.H. Housing Solutions. His innovative approach strengthens PATH’s operational systems, data capabilities, and digital infrastructure—supporting the organization’s growth, efficiency, and impact.

 

By integrating technology with mission-driven strategy, Derek helps position PATH at the forefront of innovation in housing and community development.

James Griffin

Executive Vice President, Home Free-USA

James Griffin serves as the Executive Vice President of HomeFree-USA, bringing decades of expertise in affordable housing, community development, and financial empowerment. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with agencies such as HUD, USAID, and other national organizations to expand access to homeownership and strengthen economic mobility for underserved communities.

 

A respected leader and advocate, James continues to advance innovative partnerships that close the wealth gap and create pathways to sustainable housing for families across the nation.

Chris Thompson

Advisor Educational Development, P.A.T.H. Housing Solutions

Chris brings a wealth of experience in educational leadership, policy, and program development. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida Gulf Coast University before serving as a Legislative Analyst for the U.S. House of Representatives, where he gained deep insight into educational policy and governance.

 

He later earned a Master of Education from The George Washington University and a Master of Arts in Education Leadership from Harvard University. Chris is currently completing his Postdoctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy at The George Washington University, where his research focuses on innovation and equity in community-based education systems.
